DIY Hydrating Face Oil
Ingredients:
3 Tbs jojoba oil
1 1/2 Tbs argan
oil
2 tsp rose-hip seed oil
1/4 tsp Vitamin E
4 drops carrot seed essential
oil
2 oz. dark dropper bottle
Directions:
Pour the jojoba oil into dropper
bottle. Then add the olive oil, rosehip seed oil and vitamin E. Carefully add your drops of
carrot and geranium oil. Cap the bottle and give it a
good shake. You are all set to go.
NOTE: Facial oils are
best applied to clean skin. Cleanse your face as usual, spray on your
favorite toner, and gently massage about a 1/4 to 1/2 dropper full of oil blend
onto your face and neck. Your skin will love this oil.
DIY Anti-Aging Face Serum
Ingredients:
2 tbsp emu oil
11/2 tbsp rose hip seed
oil
1/4 tsp vitamin E
2 drops Frankincense essential
oil
2 drops Myrrh essential oil
2 drops Patchouli essential oil
3 drops Lavender essential oil
1 ounce dark glass dropper
bottle
Directions:
Place emu, rose hip seed oil,
and vitamin E into glass dropper bottle. Add essential oils, close top,
and gently roll bottle to mix.
Use 1/4 – 1/2 dropper full of
serum nightly on clean face and neck to preserve, smooth, and protect your skin.
DIY Cleansing Clay Mask
Ingredients:
1 tsp bentonite clay
2 capsules of activated charcoal
1 tbsp raw honey
2 drops of Melaleuca/Tea Tree Essential Oil
a few drops of water to create a paste, if necessary
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a small glass or plastic
bowl. Add a few drops of water if necessary make a smooth paste.
Wash face as usual and apply evenly to a clean, dry face,
avoiding the sensitive skin around your eyes.
Allow mixture to sit on the skin for 15 minutes (this mask
does not dry.). Gently rinse with warm water. Use 1-2 times a week to help
keep your skin clear.
Serves: 1 mask
NOTE: Bentonite clay and activated charcoal will both react
with metal, so be sure to use only glass or plastic bowl and wooden or plastic
utensil for stirring.
